Day 1

Meetng at the airport. Overnight at the hotel of Tbilisi.


Day 2

TBILISI

After the late breakfast, we'll have the tour in the city of Tbilisi. We'll visit the old sulfur baths of Tbilisi, Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian churches and Great Synagogue (Tbilisi) and the Turkish mosque located near each other that is reflecting the acceptance of different faiths in Tbilisi. We'll also visit the recently built Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, which is the largest in the Caucasus. As well as Metekhi Churchi(13c) which is built on a cliff, overlooking the Mtkvari(Kura) river. In front of the church is Vakhtang Gorgasalithe monument of king Vakhtang Gorgasali, founder of Tbilisi. Church history is connected with conquest Mongols and political repression of Soviet Empire. The coloured palace of Darejan, is located on the cliff in the form of swallow nest. Sulfur baths are located on the opposite side of the river in front of Metekhi. You will see the fortress of Narikala, built in the fourth century. NarikalaAs well as we will visit the Tbilisi Sioni Cathedral(6c), which is located on the bank of river Kura. Also the Anchiskhati Basilica which is the oldest church of Tbilisi and which houses the miraculous icon of Christ. On the lunch we'll have khachapuri, in its different types. After the lunch we will climb the mountain Mtacminda(holly mountain) and will visit the pantheon where the most prominent figures of arts, writers and poets of Georgia are buried. After the walk along the Rustaveli Avenue where are located: Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Rustaveli Theatre, and different art galleries, also the Parliament of Georgia and etc. In the evening the supper at the Georgian restaurant with a view of Georgian folklore show( lunch price 25 dol) Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3

TBILISI-MTSKHETA-STEPANTSMINDA-TBILIS

After the breakfets well set off in Mtskheta ( the place of heritage UNESCO) Mtskheta is ancient capital of the Georgian kingdom from the 3rdcentury BC to the 5th century AD. We'll visit the Jvari Monastery (6c) and also the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Which houses a piece of the Shroud of Christ.Ananuri Castle From MTSKHETA well go to the Ananuri Castle(17c) to the residence of the rulers of Aragvi and the thence to the village resort Pasanauri known with its ecological purity and with its teasty khinkali( Georgian dumplings) which you can be able to taste in the local restaurant. After the lunch well drive to Gudauri, the skiing resort of the world class and well arrive to Stepantsminda, one of the highest inhabited places in Georgia. We will visit the Gergeti Trinity Church(14c) which offers unforgettable views of Mount Kazbek. After that returning and overnight at Tbilisi.

Day 4

TBILISI-KAKHETI-TBILISI

Kakheti We go to the famous wine growing region of kakheti. After the breakfast we will visit the David gareja monastery complex which is carved in stone and located in the desert. From there we go to the the Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe (slideshow). On the 1st of june, Georgian orthodox church celebrates the emergence of st.Nino. She became one of the most revered saints and ist attribute a cross from the vine is the symbol of the Georgian Christianity. Frome Bodbe we are going to Sighnaghi, to the center of tourism, of Kakheti. Sighnaghi museum is the smallest in the Georgia, but there are stored the pictures of the famous artist Niko Pirosmani. We'll walk in signage andll have a dinner at the restaurant where you can taste the wine of Kakheti and the famous dishes of this region. Museum of Alexander Chavchavadze in TsinandaliAfter the dinner we will visit the inspection house of Tsinandali, the museum and the garden of the famous Georgian nobleman and poet AL. Chavchavadze. We'll taste the wines from the cellars of the palace and we'll visit the Ikalto monastery (6c) the educational center of 12th century, where studied the famous Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli. After that returning and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 5

TBILISI-BORJOMI-VARDZIA

BorjomiAfter the breakfast we will go to Borjomi , to the Georgian famous resort. We'll have the short rest at the hotel and departure to the cave city of Vardzia. Along the way we'll visit the fortress Hertvisi(10c) Vardzia was built in 12th century, in the golden era of Georgia, during the reign of queen Tamar.Vardzia The town consisted of the 3000 caves and could accommodate 50,000 people.At first it was planned as a fortress and was built in the fortress- the monastery which played an important role in political, cultural and spiritual life. On the way back we will have dinner at the small restaurant and we'll taste a fried trout (fish) and other dishes of Georgian national kitchen. In Borjomi you will have a free evening, you can relax in Borjomi park and have a drink from the source of mineral water of Borjomi.

Day 6

BORJOMI-KUTAISI

KutaisiAfter the breakfast begins our journey to the western part of Georgia. We arrive to Kutaisi- to the second largest city of the Georgia, which was founded 40 centuries ago. The former capital of the western Georgian kingdom Kolxida, which is associated with the myth of the golden fleece and Argonauts . we visit the Gelati Monastery, political, cultural and educational center of 12th century, that was found by great Georgian king, David the builder. Than we have a trip to the cave called Sataplia. SatapliaThe mountain is famous for it's rare and beautiful caves. The reserve is crater of an extinct Vulcan and dinosaur footprints. After that we return to Kutaisi and have a dinner in the restaurant which is known with it's diversity. Under the guidance of chefs you can take the master class and learn how to ccok Georgian national dishes. The free evening and overnight at the hotel of Kutaisi

Day 7

KUTAISI-GORI-TBILISI

Gori, GeorgisAfter the lunch we will return to the eastern Georgia and on the way to Tbilisi we'll visit the city of Gori. The city was founded by the great Georgian king David the Builder. Well visit the house museum of Stalin and also the cave sity- Uplistsikhe (god fortress) which was founded in the 2nd century. This fortress is situated on the high bank, on the left side of the river Kura and is the one of the most important strongholds. The city that is graven in the rock, was a political and cultural center of Georgia. We'll have dinner at the famous restaurant of the Mstkheta, named-“salobie”. After that we'll return to Tbilisi and ‘ll have the free evening. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8

TBILISI

After the breakfast we will visit the historical museum of Georgia ( gold fund) and also the ethnographic museum. After all that you will be able to go, buy some Georgian souvenirs and have a dinner in restaurant. In the evening departure from Tbilisi.
